WASHINGTON (Sept. 7, 2017) — The National Transportation Safety Board will meet Tuesday to determine the probable cause of the fatal, May 7, 2016, crash of a Tesla near Williston, Florida.

WHERE: NTSB Board Room and Conference Center, 429 L’Enfant Plaza SW, Washington, D.C. The meeting is open to the public. For those who cannot attend in person, the meeting will be webcast and a link to the webcast will be available shortly before the start of the meeting at http://ntsb.capitolconnection.org/.
WHEN: Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017, 9:30 a.m. Media covering the meeting in person are asked to be in place no later than 9:15 a.m., the day of the meeting.
The NTSB’s preliminary report for this crash was issued July 26, 2016, and the docket was opened June 19, 2017.
