Day 2: March 25, 2015

Operation Lifesaver / NS Train at Union Station, Washington, D.C.
(8:00 AM–9:15 AM)

The Norfolk Southern safety train includes a locomotive painted with the Operation Lifesaver logo, two vintage passenger railroad cars outfitted with television monitors that stream a live video feed from a camera mounted on the lead locomotive to show passengers firsthand what engineers see every day from locomotives The train also includes the Norfolk Southern Exhibit Car, which showcases the benefits of rail freight transportation.
