During an interview conducted by a Federal Aviation Administration inspector, the pilot reported that while practicing takeoffs and landings during her first solo flight she lost directional control and ran off the left side of runway 17. After the airplane left the runway, it struck a dirt mound and nosed over, resulting in structural damage.
