THE PLT STATED THAT AS HE APPROACHED THE AIRSTRIP HE FLEW HIS PATTERN LOW. AS HE TURNED BASE THE WIND CAUGHT THE LEFT WING SHOVING THE ACFT DOWN. HE JAMMED THE THROTTLE FORWARD BUT THE ACFT CRASHED.
