NTSB investigators either traveled in support of this investigation or conducted a significant amount of investigative work without any travel, and used data obtained from various sources to prepare this aircraft accident report.THE PLT REPORTED THAT HE WAS FLYING LOW & IN LEVEL FLT OVER THE OCEAN WHEN THE ACFT HIT THE WAKE FROM A LARGE BOAT & FLIPPED OVER. ACCORDING TO WITNESSES, THE ACFT BEGAN A RIGHT TURN WHILE FLYING LOW, THEN THE RIGHT WING HIT THE WATER & THE ACFT CARTWHEELED & CRASHED. A CHECK OF THE PLT'S BLOOD SHOWED AN ALCOHOL LEVEL OF 0.16%.
