AN INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT THE MAGNETOS WERE NOT IN AN AIRWORTHY CONDITION AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT. THE ACFT HAD BEEN OPERATED 338 HRS SINCE THE LAST 100 HR INSPECTION.
