THE PLT STATED THAT WHILE ATTEMPTING A LANDING HE REALIZED HIS RATE OF DESCENT WAS TOO HIGH. HE THEN APPLIED POWER, THE NOSE PITCHED UP AND THE ACFT STALLED, RESULTING IN A HARD LANDING.
