 Media Advisory: NTSB holds El Faro B-roll Availability, Media Briefing

The National Transportation Safety Board will hold at Naval Station Mayport, Florida, Friday, Aug. 12, 2016, a media availability for the return of the USNS Apache and a press briefing about the recovery of the El Faro voyage data recorder.

The B-roll availability for the capture of imagery of the return of USNS Apache is slated for 8:30 a.m., Friday.
The press briefing is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Friday, on the pier.

WHO: Brian Curtis, Acting Director, NTSB Office of Marine Safety.

WHAT: Press briefing regarding recovery of the El Faro voyage data recorder and the investigative process ahead.

WHERE: U.S. Naval Station Mayport.

WHEN:
• All interested media must meet NAVSTA Public Affairs Officer Bill Austin in the Pass and Decal Parking Lot of NAVSTA Mayport no later than 8:30 a.m., Friday.
• B-roll availability from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
• Media Briefing, 10:30 a.m.
