On November 1, 2006, about 1815 universal coordinated time (UTC), a Cessna 207, VH-UBX, collided with terrain following a loss of engine power near Townsville Airport, Australia. Margaret Prior, Cardwell, Queensland, Australia, was operating the airplane under the provisions of the Australian Civil Aviation Regulations. The pilot and three passengers sustained unknown injuries. The airplane was substantially damaged. The primary wreckage was at 19 degrees 15 minutes south latitude and 146 degrees 46 minutes east longitude.
