On July 1, 2005 at approximately 0853 local time, Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight 048, a McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30, registration S2-ADN, ran off right side of runway while landing at Shah Amanat International Airport (CGP), Chittagong, Bangladesh. There were no fatalities to the 15 crew and 201 passengers onboard. The investigation is being conducted by the Bangladesh Civil Aviation Authority Accident Investigation Committee.
