NTSB INVESTIGATING TOUR BOAT CAPSIZING IN NEW YORK
The National Transportation Safety Board has sent a team of investigators to the scene of a tour boat capsizing in Lake George, New York yesterday. The tour boat Ethan Allen capsized about 4 p.m., EDT, due to unknown circumstances. There were 47 persons on board, 21 were fatally injured.
Leading the team of 12 is Robert Ford who will serve as the Investigator-in-Charge. NTSB Acting Chairman Mark Rosenker accompanied the team and will serve as principal spokesperson.
