NTSB LAUNCHES TEAM TO INVESTIGATE FATAL BUS CRASH IN SOUTH CAROLINA INVOLVING US NAVY PERSONNEL

National Transportation Safety Board Chairman Ellen Engleman-Conners has announced that the NTSB is launching a team of seven highway investigators to the scene of a fatal collision today between a tractor-trailer and a bus carrying US Navy personnel near Gardens Corner, South Carolina. The team, headed by NTSB Investigator-in-Charge Gary Van Etten, is expected to arrive on scene later today to begin its investigation. Updated information on the progress of the investigation will be released periodically.
