REVISED MOST WANTED LIST AND FINAL REPORT ON CRASH THAT KILLED SENATOR WELLSTONE - ITEMS FOR NEXT BOARD MEETING
The National Transportation Safety Board will hold a Board Meeting Tuesday, November 18, 2003 at 9:00 a.m., at its Board Room and Conference Center, 429 L'Enfant Plaza, S.W., Washington, D.C. Two items are on the agenda:
9:00 a.m. -- The Safety Board will review revised Most
Wanted recommendations addressed to the Department of
Transportation modal administrations. At a meeting in May
the Board requested a 30-day review of the Most Wanted List.
The revised list to be presented addresses issues and
incorporates changes brought forth during the review.

1:00 p.m. -- The Board will consider the final report
on the investigation into the crash of a Raytheon
(Beechcraft) King Air 100 airplane (N41BE) near Eveleth, MN,
on October 25, 2002. The aircraft, operated by Aviation
Charter, Inc., and carrying Senator Paul Wellstone, five
other passengers and 2 crewmembers, was on a flight from St.
Paul to Eveleth when it crashed on approach to Eveleth-
Virginia Airport. The aircraft was destroyed and there were
no survivors.
