NTSB SENDS GO-TEAM TO INVESTIGATE BRIDGE COLLAPSE IN OKLAHOMA
Senior NTSB highway investigator Ken Suydam will serve as Investigator-in-Charge. NTSB Member George W. Black is accompanying the team and will serve as principal spokesman for the investigation on scene. Keith Holloway will be the NTSB press officer on scene.
The Safety Board team consists of highway and marine investigators from Washington, D.C.; Atlanta, Georgia and Arlington, Texas. The United States Coast Guard will be cooperating and participating in the Safety Boards investigation.
NTSB Chairman Marion Blakey said, I wish to express my condolences to those who may have lost loved ones in todays accident. The NTSB is committing all necessary resources to determine what caused this tragedy, and will be assisted by state and other federal authorities toward that end.
