In Phoenix, AZ, a missing Piper PA 28-181 was found 19 miles northeast of Phoenix. There were three fatalities. Tealeye Cornejo responded.

In Kingston, NY, an airplane crashed into the Hudson River. The sole occupant was killed. Ralph Hicks responded.


In Adrian, OR, a Cessna 182 crashed. All three persons aboard the aircraft died. K. Anderson responded.
In Death Valley National Park, CA, the wreckage of a Mooney M20J was found by park workers in the desert. The date and time of the accident are unknown. The sole occupant of the airplane died. Patrick Jones responded.
In Tucson, AZ, a MDHI 369FF Helicopter, owned and operated by Pima County AZ Sheriff’s Office, crashed in mountainous terrain 39 miles northwest of Tucson. There were four persons aboard the plane. There was one fatality. Michael Huhn responded.
In Kissimmee, FL, an experimental Fougo CM 170 Magister crashed near Kissimmee airport shortly after take-off. Paul Cox responded.
In Connersville, IN, a Cessna 421 crashed in a field. The sole occupant was killed. David Bowling responded.


In Ware Shoals, SC a Cessna 150E crashed in a rural area. The pilot, the sole occupant, died. Shawn Elcher responded.

In New Smyrna Beach, FL, a Cessna 172S crashed 150 yards off the beach into the water during a training flight. Both occupants died. Butch Wilson responded
In Honolulu, HI, a Japan Airlines Boeing 767-346 encountered turbulence during descent to Honolulu International Airport. One flight attendant and one passenger sustained serious injuries. The aircraft landed without further incident. Van McKenny is investigating.
