University Aviation Association Visits NTSB

On Friday, January 7, 2011, Member Rosekind welcomed aviation students who were visiting Washington, DC on a weeklong trip organized by the University Aviation Association (UAA).   The Aviation Policy Seminar is an annual event held by UAA.  During their week in the DC area, the students met with Congressional staff, FAA personnel, NATCA, NASAO/NAA, NATA, ALPA, NBAA, ACI-NA, ATA, RAA and AAAE.  On their last day in town, they visited the NTSB and toured the labs.  Jeff Marcus of the NTSB’s Safety Recommendations and Quality Assurance Division organized the students’ visit to NTSB. Member Rosekind gave them an overview of the NTSB’s mission as well as answered their numerous and varied questions.

Rosekind was sworn in as a Board Member on June 30, 2010. His term expires December 31, 2014.
