The National Transportation Safety Board launched an investigator to yesterday's collision involving two Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) passenger trains in Oakland, California. Two cars derailed, approximately 300 passengers were evacuated and there were nine reported minor injuries.
Robert Campbell, senior rail investigator, responded to the scene and is coordinating with the California Public Utilities Commission.
