NTSB LAUNCHES TEAM TO SCHOOL BUS ACCIDENT IN ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA

April 18, 2005

The National Transportation Safety Board has launched a Go-Team to investigate this morning's collision of a school bus and a garbage truck in Arlington, Virginia.

Ken Suydam, of the Safety Board's Office of Highway Safety, will serve as the Investigator-in-Charge (IIC). Board Member Deborah Hersman will act as the on-scene spokesperson for the Safety Board. Terry Williams will be the NTSB public affairs officer with the team. Mr. Williams can be reached on-scene at (202) 557- 1350.
