NTSB IS INVESTIGATING A METRO NORTH RAIL ACCIDENT IN CONNECTICUT

The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating a the Metro North passenger train accident in Bridgeport, Connecticut that occurred at approximately 6:10 pm on May 17, 2013.

NTSB Rail Safety Investigator Michael Hiller is the investigator-in-charge, leading a multi-disciplinary team of NTSB personnel. Board Member Earl Weener served as the principal spokesman during the on-scene phase of the investigation.
