Thank you. I am honored to be here and participate in an event that will have much impact on our industry. This is a revolutionary time for all of us. Concern for the environment, commitment to th protection of public safety, and expectations for improving our daily performance are integral parts of our business, and always have been.
This commitment has caused dramatic change in our company. From the board room, through the control center, up and down the pipeline, to the tank farms where we deliver our products, our daily pledge to ourselves and all of our communities is “spill free, error free.” We expect this of ourselves, we know that our communities and our regulators expect this as well. And this is the right expectation.
We are institutionalizing change, through our application of science, our Risk Management processes, and our training. In short, it’s how we live at Colonial.
