On January 7, 2007, about 1900, central standard time, a Beech A-100 airplane, Canadian registration C-GFFN, operated by Transwest Air, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada, as an aeromedical flight, collided with terrain during a nonprecision approach to the Sandy Bay Airport, Sandy Bay, Saskatchewan. The captain sustained fatal injuries. The first officer and two medical crewmembers sustained serious injuries.
