On June 13, 2004, at 1239 central daylight time, a Maule MX7235, N5664R, collided with a concrete culvert following a loss of directional control while landing on runway 18 (3,598 feet by 75 feet, asphalt) at the Crites Airport, Waukesha, Wisconsin. The private pilot was not injured. The airplane was substantially damaged. The 14 CFR Part 91 personal flight was operating in visual meteorological conditions without a flight plan.
