On June 19, 2002, a Boeing 737-800, Australian registration VH-VOE, operated by Virgin Blue Airlines, overran runway 29 during landing at the Darwin Airport in Darwin, Australia. No injuries or damage were reported. Night visual meteorological conditions prevailed at the time. The investigation is being conducted by the Australian Transportation Safety Board.
