On March 20, 2000, at 1943 local Peru time, a Aviandina Airlines Boeing 727-23 landed with the right main landing gear retracted at Arequipa Airport, Peru. The aircraft sustained substantial damage but no injuries occurred. The event is being investigated by the Government of Peru.
