On December 19, 1993, at 1423 central standard time, a Boeing A75N1, N55133, was substantially damaged during a precautionary landing near Madisonville, Texas, due to deteriorating weather conditions. The airline transport rated pilot was not injured. Instrument meteorological conditions existed throughout the area.

The pilot reported, during an interview conducted by a Federal Aviation Administration inspector, that he encountered low ceilings and attempted to land on a road. During the landing the aircraft struck a roadside marker and spun around, collapsing a landing gear and damaging the wing spar.
