On September 24, 1997, about 1605 universal coordinated time, a Bellanca 17-30A, N28158, operated by Schuybroek Aviation Inc., of Dover, Delaware, was destroyed when it struck terrain in the vicinity of Wichelen, Belgium. According to the initial notification from the Belgian Civil Aviation Administration, the airplane had departed Antwerp, Belgium, on a local flight and impacted flat grass land. The airplane was destroyed by the impact and a fire.
