On November 7, 1996 about 0705 Greenwich Means Time, ZS-HKB, a Bell 206B3 helicopter, a powerline patrol flight, had a loss of control and collided with powerlines at Dear, South Africa. The pilot and passenger were fatally injured. The helicopter was destroyed. The accident is being investigated by the South African Government.
