On February 17, 1995, at 1145 local Australia time, a Beechcraft BE-55, N9124S, owned and operated by an Australian citizen, collided with a hill near Laurieton, New South Wales, Australia. The aircraft was destroyed. The pilot and one passenger were fatally injured. Two other passengers received serious injuries. The aircraft departed from Port MacQuarie, New South Wales, at 1130 local time for a pleasure flight to Launceston, Tasmania. The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the government of Australia.
