HE NOTICED HIS FUEL WAS LOW, CALLED HIS FRIEND AND HEADED FOR HOME. WHEN HIS ENGINE QUIT 2 MILES FROM PAINE FIELD HE DITCHED. THE AIRCRAFT SANK AND WAS NOT RECOVERED.
