NTSB investigators may not have traveled in support of this investigation and used data provided by various sources to prepare this aircraft accident report.THE ACFT HAD BEEN AIRBORNE ABOUT 2 HRS & CONSUMED OVER 23 GALS OF FUEL WHEN THE ENG QUIT DUE TO FUEL EXHAUSTION. THE OPERATOR STATED THIS WAS CONSIDERABLY MORE THEN THE NORMAL FUEL CONSUMPTION OF ABOUT 8 GALS/HR. DURING THE EMERGENCY LANDING THE ACFT STRUCK A POWER LINE OVER A ROAD. THE ACFT THEN LANDED ON THE ROAD & THE LEFT WING STRUCK A FIRE HYDRANT. IT THEN WENT THROUGH A BARBED WIRE FENCE.
