THE AIRCRAFT WAS OBSERVED TO DISAPPEAR FROM THE RADAR APPROXIMATELY 1/4 TO 1/2 MILE NORTH OF THE AIRPORT. THE PILOT STATED HE RAN THE TANKS DRY.
