NTSB investigators may not have traveled in support of this investigation and used data provided by various sources to prepare this aircraft accident report.FOLLOWING MAINTENANCE PERFORMED ON THE AIRCRAFT THE PILOT CONDUCTED A CHECK FLIGHT. AFTER TAKEOFF THE PILOT DISCOVERED FUEL SPLASHING ON THE WINDSHIELD AND PROCEEDED TO ABORT THE TAKEOFF. UPON LANDING THE PILOT LOST CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT. THE AIRCRAFT VEERED OFF THE RUNWAY, STRUCK A DIRT BANK, AND WAS DESTROYED BY FIRE.
