THE PLT WAS INSPECTING A LANDING SITE FOR POSSIBLE USE. A LOW PASS WAS BEING MADE AT APPROXIMATELY 3 FT WHEN THE ACFT ENCOUNTERED A DOWNDRAFT & IMPACTED A ROCKY RIDGE AREA SHORT OF THE SITE.
