WHILE EN ROUTE FROM THE 1ST TURN POINT HE ENCOUNTER RAIN & ELECTED TO LAND IN A PASTURE. DURING THE LANDING ROLL, THE TAIL SKID STRUCK A HOLE WHICH CRACKED THE FUSELAGE, IMMEDIATELY FORWARD OF THE EMPENNAGE.
