DESPITE THE EXISTENCE OF AN AIRSTRIP ACROSS THE STREET FROM HIS HOME, THE PLT ELECTED TO TAKEOFF & LAND ON THE STREET. DURING THE LANDING, THE ACFT HIT SEVERAL TREES & A PUMP HOUSE. LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS REPORTED THAT THE PLT WAS DRUNK AND DRINKING BEER WHEN THEY ARRIVED AT THE SITE LESS THAN AN HOUR AFTER THE ACCIDENT. ACCORDING TO THE PAX, THE PLT HAD BEEN DRINKING BEER PRIOR TO TAKEOFF AND TOOK ONE BEER WITH HIM ON THE FLT.
