THE PILOT EXECUTED AN EMERGENCY LANDING IN A NEWLY MOWED HAYFIELD AND THE ACFT SUSTAINED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE. THE PILOT STATED THAT HE SHOULD HAVE 'GOTTEN FUEL AT LAFAYETTE.'
