HE MADE A FORCED LANDING IN WHAT APPEARED TO BE A CLEARED FIELD. DURING THE LANDING ROLL, THE ACFT HIT A DITCH & NOSED OVER. THE PLT INDICATED THAT THE SURFACE OF THE GROUND WAS OBSCURED BY SHORT PINE TREES.
