THE OVERCAST SKY'GAVE A WHITE-OUT EFFECT ON DEPTH PERCEPTION'. THE COLLISION WITH A RISE IN THE FIELD TORE OFF THE LANDING GEAR AND THE ACFT SLID TO A STOP IN THE SNOW.
