THE PILOT WAS MAKING A SHORT FIELD LANDING AT A PRIVATE AIRSTRIP WHICH WAS GRASS COVERED AND WET. THE PILOT CAME IN TOO HIGH AND LONG AND ONCE ON THE GROUND, SKIDDED TO A STOP BETWEEN TWO TREES.
