WHILE PRACTICING SHORT FIELD LANDINGS, THE STUDENT PLT FLARED THE ACFT PREMATURELY RESULTING IN A HARD LANDING & SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE. THE ACFT WAS THEN TAXIED TO THE RAMP.
