THE PLT INITIATED AN AUTOROTATION & MADE A MAYDAY CALL, BUT DID NOT GET THE EMERG FLOATS INFLATED BEFORE TOUCHING DOWN IN THE WATER. SUBSEQUENTLY, THE HELICOPTER SANK & WAS NOT RECOVERED.
