HE MADE A FORCED LANDING ON A TRAIL DUE TO LOWERING VISIBILITY, 15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF THE DESTINATION ARPT. THE TERRAIN WAS ROUGH AND THE ACFT RECEIVED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE DURING THE LANDING.
