HE BELIEVED THAT A WIDER ORBIT WOULD HAVE PREVENTED HIM FROM FLYING BACK INTO THE WAKE & ADDITIONAL ALTITUDE WOULD HAVE PROVIDED MORE TIME FOR RECOVERY.
