DURING THE LANDING ON THE GAVEL BAR SHORTLY AFTER TOUCHDOWN , THE PILOT LOST DIRECTIONAL CONTROL OF THE AIRPLANE. THE AIRPLANE THEN GROUND LOOPED TO THE RIGHT. THE LEFT WING TIP STRUCK THE GROUND.
