PUBLIC HEARING
Marine Safety Issues Pertaining
to High-Volume Population Centers on Inland Waterways
As part of its investigation of an accident involving The Admiral, a gaming vessel moored in the St. Louis Harbor, the National Transportation Safety Board conducted a two-day public hearing on July 23 and 24, 1998, in St. Louis, Missouri, at the Adam's Mark Hotel. The hearing examined marine safety issues pertaining to passenger vessels, gaming vessels and structures like hotels and shopping malls located on busy inland waterways.
